Morning Thought: It’s not about what you think. What do you think?

Sometimes we have to accept that garbage is just garbage!! We must let it go!! We must throw it out! Not all things can be recycled. Not everyone can change.

  1. I haven’t forgotten when Glad made a commercial that had women actors comparing what they expected from men to their garbage bags. One of the last line was, “and when I’m done with him.” As they show a woman dropping a garbage bag into a trash can.

    1. Never saw that commercial but sounds super cool. Too funny!! Sometimes we as humans think we can change others but we can’t. People change/grow if and when they want to. Thanks for sharing. Do you see a reblog button on my post?

      1. That commercial was extremely derogatory towards men and pissed off the fledgling men’s movement of the day. So many men complained that Glad had to remove the commercial and trash it.

        1. Wow! Seems no matter what people say or do someone is bound to get offended. Such is life. Makes it tough for us writers. Doesn’t it? Some will love us while others won’t. What matters is that we love ourselves.

          1. Imagine the fury of women/feminists had Glad produced the commercial from a man’s perspective. Especially from the perspective of men who “pump and dump”. 🙂
