Hear my words and change how I feel
I want to be healthy. I want to be healed.

Place a fortress around my soul so negativity won’t take control.

I am love and I am divine
Be gone omens that aren’t mine.

I am healthy. I am healed.
Happy is how I feel.

Feel free to use my poem to stay healthy and purify your body if not well. Namaste! This is best done for the first time in a quiet place after lighting a newly white cleansed candle. After that you can just recite it when needed. Must repeat 3 times in a row each time.

What happened to Amelia?

I find the English language quite interesting. Homonyms, homophones and homographs can be confusing indeed. No one was better than Peggy Parish at making us laugh with her books.

My favorite book was the book titled Amelia Bedelia. Amelia really screwed things up but she was never fired because the Rogers just loved her pies and cooking. My favorites were dress the chicken, draw the drapes and put out the lights.

What was your favorite Amelia Bedelia book? Amelia Bedelia books were very popular. After Peggy Parish died in 1988 her nephew Herman Parish took over in 1995. Some books are about Amelia as a young girl. I liked Amelia better as the goofy older maid. You?

Last book was written in 2017. So what happened to Amelia Bedelia? Her dating life would be hysterical in my opinion. Of course it would be an adult book. Can you imagine her boyfriend telling her “Oh, Amelia you get me so upset, just kiss my a_ _.

I thought I had nothing when you left me but then I realized I still had myself left.

I will execute a better life for myself once I execute you from my memory bank.

Contronym– homonym whose meanings are antonyms. Oh the English language.

Who will remember you?

It’s poetry month which means try to be a poet.

Does it mean Poe try! I’m good but not like Edgar Allen Poe. Has anyone ever read his life history? He lost his parents, his wife and his jobs. He barely made it writing and then died.

I wonder who will remember us from our writing. The great thing is we are sharing our gifts with the world. We will never be forgotten for we made an etch in this world with our words.

I share with you one of my first poems written in 2nd grade. The year was 1976.

I like my car for it takes me very far. I hop in it and go after pumping gas from either Getty or Texaco.

Yup that was a long time ago. I am grateful to my teacher Miss Pepe for giving me the assignment of writing a poem. What was your first poem? How old were you? Thank you again for reading my blog.
